Lacassine Pool is the name of the 16,000-acre habitat consisting of managed freshwater marsh. The pool provides food for wintering waterfowl including white-fronted and snow geese, pintail, blue-winged and green-winged teal, mallards, ring-necked ducks, gadwalls and American wigeon.
